Domestic league competition comes to an end for Barça with a 48-35 win away from home for the Barça handball team. With the league title secured some weeks ago, the victory serves as a confidence boost ahead of next weekend's Copa del Rey matches and further along the Champions League Final Four in Cologne in mid June.

Cherry on the cake

Despite the fact that there was nothing at stake for the blaugranes in the league encounter, the game against Cuenca still boasted intensity in the first half. Carlos Ortega's team found it hard to open up a gap in the scoreline but by the end of the first half they went into the dressing room 24-21 ahead.

In the second half the blaugranes took control of the game and gradually forged ahead to complete a 48-35 win to round off another exemplary league campaign.
